i feel joy..'j-o-y that is down in my heart, deep deep down in my heart!'
i dont noe to call it divine or what..but i gave me great joy. supposed to meet claire today, but she wasnt feeling well...so i went to town to meet sandy! bought papers and paper clips to bless the central ah mahs..i wrote amd wrote and wrote..sandy cut and cut till her hand's gonna bleed, and i realized its time to go home but i haven finish writing yet! so i told my mum i'll go home later..n i continue writing n writing and when i checked the time, it was 8!!!n im supposed to reach home by 830..n it wont be possible even if i fly to the bus stop to take 106.
so i decided to take cab..n guess what! i only had 7 bucks cash with me and all those cabs i flag dont accept nets, n i realize all cabs dont accept nets..so i had to run back to sandy and kelly to borrow money from them! so i got onto this cab with $9.70
me: uncle arh, go to clementi $9 enough?
uncle: i dont think so leh..where izit?
then i told him all the things visible near my house..dover, mosque,mrt..everything lah..
uncle: okok i fetch you there
me( tried to act sweet): thankew!
uncle: you come around here to shop around arh?
me: no lah..meeting.
uncle:what school you in now? last time? o level how did you score? blah blah blah..
(of coz he didnt ask in one shot..but is just some boring conversation)
the a minute or two of silence.......
n i was thinking real hard what shld i say to lead it into a spiritual conversation..
then God gave me the chance..
uncle: so you come here for what? meet boy friend arh?
me: no no no! i have some church things
uncle: WOW!!!!! YOU ARE ATTACHED TO A CHURCH! GOOD GOOD GOOD..
me got a shock first..then ask him back: which church do you go to?
uncle: ohhhhhhh*suddenly very solemn* i have no time to go church..and blah blah blah..
then we talked and talked and talked..and uncle took short cut so that the cab fare was just 9 bucks!
he seemed ultra happy when i reached..as in like very thankful and glad to have fetched me..so b4 i alight i told uncle,
uncle, after you retire maybe you can come join our adult congregation..at cuppage 5th level..must go take a look when u are free arh..
n uncle smiled widely and sort of cutely..heh
its always great to be involved in such conversations..yah..and thats all i wanna share..heh
and God told me: the Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.
n im really encouraged by kelly and her team! a bunch of passionate, willing and excited people. so proud of them :)
and wanna thank God for sandy too! she's so willing to meet up with me, so available, a great listener, and just a great friend. yup do go mix around her when u are free! you'll learn alot/ :)
and Dad, you know how i feel, n you know exactly what i need. i wanna wait upon you, and listen to your voice. speak,for im listening.
