it was funny seeing myself and others,
when taking the lead, walking infront of everyone else,
sub-consciously turn back,
to check if people are following,
or have they stopped to discuss dinner place without informing the "leader"

after all, we're not good at leading
we suck at leading ourselves,
what more lead others..
when no one's ahead of us,
when whats infront seem confusing even to ourselves,
we cant lead people amidst uncertainty.

yet God has offered to let us tug our hands at the back of His shirt,
put our fingers on our lips,
listen to where we're heading,
and what is next..
we'll not get lost,
cause He is already the way.

that reminds me,
leading is not about me,
but about Him leading me,
to pass down the message,
to be His loud speaker,
and tell the rest,
just follow Him,
everything's alright.

so everytime i turn back to check if people are following behind,
let me be reminded,
that He's the lead in my life.
