sometimes i wonder what it really mean to build God's kingdom. i guess it means God's providence,
it means His promise
it means im whole hearted
it would be His heart that im after,
not my own goals or achievements,
nor hardwork due to my pride and fears of failure.
when bricks in my hands are used to build God's house,
im not easily discouraged,
because i know that He's in control,
my part is to give my ultimate best.
instead, when things dont turn out the way i expect,
i rejoice and praise Him,
for i know its His will being done not mine.
sometimes we get too busy building our own houses,
and leave God's house in ruin.
we work, but we reap little.
we expect much, but turned out to be little.
and disappointment overwhelm us too much,
that we lose sight of God.
God says "give careful thought to your ways"
are we doing ministry to hide things we fear?
are we doing things to make up for our inadequacy?
"stop trying to fit me into your life, but build your life around Me"
when things are discouraging,
look up,
and be encouraged.
He who is above never slumber nor sleep.
start to encourage,
and meet the needs around,
and we'll discover
adversity is a joy.
His kingdom, not mine.
a little update!
yesterday was mama's birthday!
went to this jap restaurant, all sushi at 99cents!
i always loved celebrations with the family,
simply and sweet.
dont need exaggerated plans or surprises,
just sitting around the table,
enjoying one anothers' presence.=)
ate like theres no tomorrow!

celebrated seili's birthday couples of weeks ago too!
my special friend that i met in school.
yeah lots of effort,
but it takes someone important for such efforts.
indeed, i've learnt many things through how seili handles things,
her principles in life,
and how she cherish people in her life.
thank you for walking into my life.=)
